Yeah so Ive just got this blogging thing down, I really feel like turning over a new leaf in my life. Because before this day, i have seriously just been coasting through.
My wake up call came this morning in the post, a letter from my college with my report in it, luckily i managed to get to it before my parents, and now it is currently stewing in a draw somewhere. Great job Jake!
Yeah, From two of my three subject the attendance is less than 70%, with one going so far as to say i have missed every Tuesday lesson this term. I mean i know I've missed a fair few, but every single one? That's got to be a exaggeration! This is why I've just decided I'm going to try harder, to actually do my work, and to not miss a lesson if i can help it, even if I'm tired. (What a shit excuse anyway.)
Anyway in a more positive note, Eve Online's Newest expansion, Apocrypha has been released today, and I'm in the process of downloading it as i type this. It's apparently their biggest expansion to date, and i look forward to trying out some of the new features, even if my character is a bit mediocre at the moment.
In other gaming related news, Ive been playing Dawn of War 2 a lot lately, and I'm really enjoying it, the emphasis on unit bases combat, and the step away from the traditional base building is really a step in the right direction for me. It really tries to encourage tactics, and micro management of your units to succeed, in multiplayer anyway.
Anyway, ill be posting again pretty soon, as i have lots of thoughts floating around my head, although none of them have coalesced into solid ideas for use in the blogging process.
